You may have guessed by the title, but I finally got my book out on the market. “The Displaced” is a piece that I have been working on for over five years. I decided enough was enough and I was going to get the thing done. It’s taken up a lot of my free time and energy, but I did it!
As of Friday, January 19th, the e-book, paperback, and hard cover versions are all available on Amazon. The crazy thing is that even after I woke up that day, it still seemed like more of an abstract thought than a reality.
It wasn’t until my friend sent me this picture that it finally hit me. I almost couldn’t breathe:

Seeing it in physical form is just something else. I was terrified that the cover was going to come out cut off or not printed very well, so it was a huge sigh of relief to see this wasn’t the case.
I will be back to writing more content and sharing more updates with you all now that I have a little of my sanity back. I hope to go over some of the following topics in upcomign blog posts and give my view on how these portions of the writing and publishing processes went for me:
Alpha/Beta Readers
Self-Editing
Formatting for Amazon
Imposter Syndrome
Showing vs. Telling in Your Writing
Importance of Keywords in Self-Publishing
Let me know if there are any other topics you’d like to see covered! Until next time ๐
